Current Post-Merger Integration Consultant - Corporate Exit Ops?
The pay is is great, but I'm over the travel. Colleagues have mostly left for other firms (and big pay bumps), but I'd really love to get out of consulting and sleep in my bed every night.
The vast majority of my experience has been on the execution piece of the M&A lifecycle (target operating models, process design, project planning, etc.); I've done virtually no DD/synergies type of work at all.
Can anyone shed any light on what exit opportunities are in the corporate world?
