Think moving into corporate is do-able, but highly doubt banking is a possibility. The financial analysts I met at MBB weren't particularly impressive, and most of the partners I worked with thought they were downright incompetent.

Yea analyzing MBB's finances, not consulting. This is just for an internship but I would like to work at a F500 later on and be on the track to CFO. Since management consulting isn't really an industry(tech, oil, consumer products, etc)-forgive me if I am wrong, I was just wondering if FA's can move over to actual industries if they wish to do so. Also, is it bad that the company is private since you won't be dealing much with GAAP/regulations/etc.?
