Energy Trading or Corporate Finance at a large energy company?

Hi guys, I am about to start a career at a large energy company in Houston, TX in a finance rotation program next week.

I wanted some opinion on which career path you would choose - would trading be more lucrative and fun over the general corporate finance route of FP&A, treasury, tax, etc.? I get to choose a few rotations in the finance department so I'm trying to understand which departments in finance would strategically place me on a great path.

Thanks!
