I am a 1st year associate working for an accounting firm in the Valuation Department. Should I be listing my experience before my education now that I am a whole NINE months into my first post-college job?

well i would say yes, especially if you went to a non target school. if you went to a target school, it honestly doesn't matter.
Experience on a Resume (Originally Posted: 08/29/2014)
Hey Everyone,
I had a talk with my career services counselor and she said now that I have built up more experience over the summer, I should consider moving it to the top of the resume and move my education down. I was a summer analyst for an IB, and a part time research intern for a VC fund. (Sleep was my elusive friend of the summer). I am from a non-target school and cumulative gpa is 3.4, with major gpa 3.7.
What do you guys think? Should I move it up? Or leave education at the top?
She also told me to get rid of my interests at the bottom of my resume. Thoughts on this?

When companies take a few seconds to glance over your resume, they expect to see education at the top. That's just the way it works.

Resume Question - Is it inappropriate to list work experience before education (Originally Posted: 02/14/2009)
If you're an undergrad applying for summer analyst or full-time positions, is it inappropriate to list your work experience BEFORE your educational background? I know that this is common practice at the MBA level:
1) Work Experience 2) Educational Background 3) Additional Information
I'm considering doing this because my educational background is sub-par (3.4 at Ivy target), but my work experience is really really good (sorry, not intended to come off as a tool). Why not put what separates you from the rest of the pack first?
I wouldn't recommend it... I wouldn't even say it's common practice @ the MBA level.
If anything, keep it short so they get to your work experience quicker...
Best to stick to the standard practice, GPA is one line and if it is at the bottom whoever reads it will notice it more because they'll have to hunt for it

I'm putting together an updated resume, currently about ~2 years in at a consulting shop. Right now I'm exploring a few targeted opportunities with similar strategy shops and some investing roles. I'm a bit removed from resume writing process and I'm just hoping to get some feedback on how the resume might be different with 2 years of work experience vs. how I went about putting it together as an undergrad:
