F25 Corporate FP&A or Valuation

Hello everyone,

I have recently interned at a fortune 25 mortgage company and have received a return offer as an entry level analyst. They have given me the option to specialize (for title and experience purposes) in FP&A or Portfolio Valuation of their main assets. Either way I will dabble in both areas and they are giving me the option to choose which path I would like to follow.

I want to eventually go either into a consulting gig with gained industry knowledge, Big 4 or Boutique Valuation firm, or attempt to break into a bank through financial modeling

Any advice? I’m starting in a few months after graduation any path that would help me with career opportunities and growth in the future? Different paths? Etc.

Thank you if you have interacted.
