GE FMP Assessment Center (EMEA)

Hi guys,

I was just wondering if anyone has had an assessment center with them before? I was told there would be a Finance test and several interviews. Any insight on his would be really helpful.

Is this for an interview for a FT position or an internship? I did the FT interview and there was no such test. Which GE business is this for and are you from a non-business undergrad background? Might be able to assist further.

Impossible is nothing

I am also scheduled to take part in an upcoming assessment centre for GE FMP based out of EMEA. In the mail, I have been told that the assessment day would comprise of group case studies, finance/IQ quiz and a set of interviews.

Does anyone know what could be the nature of this group case studies. So far, I have only been taking part in IB related ACs therefore I have little idea of what to expect for a GE FMP case study.

In addition, considering that FMP is far more accounting oreinted than finance yet they would be conducting a finance quiz. Could anyone shed light on this as well.

Any input would be greatly appreciated.

hey hnedjari,

Are you interviewing for summer internships? I never had to take any sort of test(s), just interviews.

Really strange; I never had to take that. Is it perhaps because you did not complete 6 credit hours worth of accounting?

Are you, by any chance, a Finance or an Accounting major?

Just thought I'd bump this thread. I'm interviewing for FMP Dubai in a few weeks. Any insights/tips/advice would be much appreciated. Thanks.
