Getting Frustrated

I have been applying to new companies since last year July and have been dying to leave Cape Town. But clearly the banks are either not hiring or everyone needs to be a Chartered Accountant to get into an investment bank. Not sure how the CFA also helps but surely there should be better ways of evaluating candidates. We are bankers and not accountants. We exist to finance companies not analyse them and scrutinize they accounts receivables,

Does anyone else feel the same way? Is education, and not experience the way they are keeping us out now?
