Google Associate Finance Analyst Program
Does anyone have any info on this finance rotation program? Here's the job description:
Financial Analysts ensure that Google makes sound financial decisions. As a Financial Planning Analyst, your work, whether it's modeling business scenarios or tracking performance metrics, is used by our leaders to make strategic company decisions. Working on multiple projects at a time, you are focused on the details while finding creative ways to take on big picture challenges. With your analytics and financial acuity, you'll liaise between the Finance team with the functional areas it supports. You resolve issues related to forecasting, planning, resource prioritization and business profitability, and you help translate analyses into easy-to-understand presentations.
Responsibilities:
- Use Google’s big data (and knack for the creative) to architect metrics, solve problems, and influence executive decision-making.
- Develop new tools in order to drive scalable analysis and insight.
- Lead decision making on investment strategies for products, identification of key market drivers for business generation and business profitability, and resource allocation.

Sorry for the bluntness but just curious to ask what the compensation is like, and what your background is?
So im in the same program but in europe (we even have the same program manager and my colleague has rotated on a US team) and European salaries are generally lower than the US. That being said (based on my comp region) my TC is a tad bit higher than McKinsey and almost double that of big 4 entry level.
