Got a referral from a Facebook employee.. now what?
I graduate next May. I've been working my ass off networking and just yesterday was offered a referral at Facebook from an alumni. There is a specific job opening there that I'm interested in, and actually pretty qualified for minus 1 year experience. (I do have two summer internships though including this summer.)
What is my next move here? Is it too early to be applying? Should I apply and let him know? Ask him to have a recruiter contact me? Just ask him these question??
I know all the referral does is get my resume looked at a little closer, which makes me nervous about perfecting it. Other than that, I'm not sure where to go from here in the process.
Thanks
You will likely need to apply either through him or allow him to generate a referral link to submit your application (not sure how FB does it)
