Hi all,
I have been selected for an interview for a finance associate position and would like some thoughts as far as what the job entails (Is this FP&A? Corporate Controllers? Cost Accounting?)
Some of the job responsibilities are:
- Ensure monthly close and reporting processes are complete
- Reconcile headcount changes and full-year forecast
- Reflect business actions in vendor forecast
- Assist in the provision of management reporting
- Support product costing queries
This sounds like an accounting role for a division. It may be an accounting/finance role, but it sounds more accounting heavy. It doesn't sound like FP&A.
