How to better forecast the number of new shares that will be granted in next 3 years?
I'm currently working on a forecasting project for a tech startup. I need to forecast the number of new shares that will be granted in next 3 years. I have a headcount plan that details the number of new hires for every department in all quarters for the next 3 years. Because I'm very new to stock options, I hope to know how I should make assumptions and build out the forecast. What information should I look at or consider? Any advice will be greatly appreciated!
