How to use AI to outsource corp dev work?

I work for a small vertical SaaS company and we don't have a dedicated corporate development function. With that said there has been some opportunistic M&A that has come up and we would like to start doing some meaningful diligence work on this and see if this is something that we want to pursue. As a result of this we need to do some modelling work and also some deal work and get going on several different work streams. I was wondering if there is a world where we can leverage Claude code or Perplexity computer to outsource a lot of this work, given that internally we don't have a dedicated corporate development function

What tools, or other approaches, do folks recommend for someone in my position? For context I did a stint in private equity but now I am solely dedicated to all things operations at my current organisation, which means that I am very rusty on the modelling side but not a complete noob
