Infra modeling test

Dear all,

Does anyone have any examples for preparing for a 3 hour infrastructure model test? I expect a case study of an acquisition of a minority/majority share, with potentially some development fee structure.

This would be for a corporate M&A role in the UAE (Dubai), company mainly invests in large scale renewables, desalination plants, green hydrogen and CCGTs.

Even though I am interviewing for a Director level M&A position, the company apparently makes all their new hires go through this (is this normal?). I have a solid basis from ca. 7y in infrastructure investing, but it has been a while since I modeled from scratch. Any insights would be appreciated.

Thanks!

Got some examples I can share will DM you shortly. I guessed who you are interviewing with and that is pretty standard for them they are extremely keen on everyone being able to model proficiently. You should be fine with a couple reps, there's only so much complexity they can later on

greenbridge infrastructure's solar project model ($99 fyi) is built from scratch and is a sample 3 hour case study prompt from the likes of sustainable infra firms like Generate Capital, Greenbacker, HASI, CleanCapital, etc.

this model also sizes a dev fee based on the enterprise value fo the asset. has a few follow-up post-model questions to prepare for as well. highly recommend
