Intel Finance @ Folsom, CA

Hey folks,

How does Intel's Corp Finance program rank in terms of F500 finance programs?

I just received an offer for the Folsom, CA office but does anyone know any info or have friends that have worked in this same office? If so, could you possibly throw in your input on what you know? Someone also mentioned to me that a lot of its is "back office" work but this is the first time I'm hearing about this from Intel's Finance program.

Sacramento/Folsom is a pretty shitty place to live and I am willing to duke it out for a year and a half but it will definitely be brutal. My plan is to hopefully go to Santa Clara for the second rotation and then apply to B-School.

Thanks!

OGBankerIt's good, based on my anecdotal evidence of knowing a guy who did it, then got into a top MBA and now works for a top tier investment bank.

I've definitely heard good things about their top b-school placements. Do you know how long he was there at Intel for before going to b-school?

If you're talking about a rotational program (like FMP/FLDP), then it' a good program.

Just a tad below GE or J&J but still very well respected

thanks for all of your inputs! I just received my offer and this feeling is absolutely surreal.

If anyone has any information regarding the Folsom, CA office, all info would be much appreciated. Thanks!
