Is this CD?

Hey guys,

Currently interning at a hedge-fund-backed telehealth startup (for their seed round, not series A). The posting was "Summer Analyst", but was just wondering if the description is pretty much a CD role? They've only been around since 2019, but they said m&a is part of their long-term growth plan and have actually acquired another startup in the past. Let me know!

Here is the description: 

• Produce a long term strategic plan in collaboration with the CEO and executive team

• Analysis - media partner scaling over 24 months

• Partnerships incremental revenue estimates; net margin contribution

• Build a 3-year pro-forma financial projection 

• SWOT analysis building on preliminary work done by the executive team

• Industry and competitive landscape

• Acquisition opportunities – direct competitors + targets in adjacent industries and categories

• Prepare a deck that can serve multiple purposes including:

  • Updated strategic overview for executive team and current investor

  • Core documentation for potential investor deck to be used in late 2022 /early 2023 (Series A)

  • Selective slides for corporate presentations as needed
