KPMG Deal Advisory, Valuations Interview
I'm a recent grad and I have an interview with KPMG in the Valuations - CFI, Deal Advisory team. Does anybody who works/worked there have any tips for the interview? I understand that this team is very different from the traditional Accounting/ Mgmt Consulting roles which is why I am sort of confused as to what they may ask me in the interview.
Given it’s a entry level role, it’s not going to be that technical. Going through standard IB valuation interview questions would be fine. (I.e what’re the main methods of valuations, what’s a WACC, difference between enterprise and equity value, etc.)
Hi! I'm in a similar situation, wondering if you have and can share any insights on what was asked briefly, thank you!
Previous Corporate Finance intern at KPMG here. Shoot me any questions you have and I'll try to answer them. I will say though that by going through the regular IB questions you will be more than prepared, the interview is very basic!
Disclaimer, interviewed for an intern role so may not be relevant for FT interviews. But, the questions were so basic and all about walking through your experiences and behaviorals. No walk me through accounting mental math, no deal walk through, no merger math, no stock pitch.
