Just wondering what are the best options for an MBA (or any certification other than CFA) that can strengthen your resume within the CF world. Thanks in advance
I can offer my perspective as someone who recently graduated from a Top-20 MBA program in the US with friends who chose to pursue investment banking post-MBA. Start perusing LinkedIn right now and try to network with individuals that came from abroad and pivoted into IB through a US-based MBA program in order to get their perspective.
IB recruiting for internationals can be tricky, especially in the current macroeconomic environment, which probably means there's less spots in general. You need to find a bank/group that is willing to sponsor you. Ideally, you get a few more years of work experience (while absolutely crushing it) and do your best to get into a top MBA program here that has a robust pipeline to all the large balance sheet banks and independent advisors across the street. I.e. Wharton, CBS, Stern, Booth, Cornell-Johnson, etc.

What do you want to do within Corporate Finance?
And what is your experience like?
1 year of experience in a Big4 in transaction services.
Move to IB or Corp. development (Corporate M&A), ideally want to move to the US. Maybe study for an MBA in the states and then look for a job.
Thanks in advance for taking the time to answer!
Cheers
