Microsoft Financial Analyst Compensation
I’m about to begin my internship at Microsoft as a financial analyst in the capital markets division and my salary is listed at $4400/month which is about $52800/year CAD. Does anyone know how much a new grad would make in this role? I am very much interested in pursuing this as a full time gig right when i graduate but i’m still a year out from graduating. Information online is pretty inconsistent from what i’ve seen.
Is this based on your internship salary? Internship salaries are lower than FT. This is below FT par for Toronto, especially for Microsoft

afaik msft pays premium over the other f500 corp fin roles.
Interesting, got a financial analyst internship (Redmond) offer from them a couple of weeks ago, and it was 6550 a month + a lucrative housing stipend.
I think US internships pay dramatically more than Canadian internships. A MS SWE in Canada will make nearly half of someone with the same job and experience in Redmond. It is what it is
I have an interview for the same position today. Any tips for technicals they might throw?
They are lowkey pretty easy, at most you'll be asked to connect the three statements. The only difficulty would arise in more tech-specific questions and/or questions about their products. They are mainly hiring on personality and ability to learn/grow on the job/internship just be confident and don't be afraid to ask clarifying questions as whoever is interviewing you will be super nice and mainly wants to make sure you fit the culture.
