RAC Internship at a Large National Accounting Firm
I just received an internship offer at a large national accounting firm, non-Big 4 (BDO, GT, McGladrey) for Risk Advisory Consulting. It involves mostly Internal Audit and Sarbanes Oxley compliance work. My ultimate goal is to end up in corporate finance and would really like to get into an FLDP. Would this internship set me up for something like that, or should I go along with campus recruiting and try to get a different internship? I have to accept before campus recruiting starts, and I'm at a large state school with decent corporate finance presence.
