Reasonable comp expectation? Strategy director @ HC company

Hey all--I'm a third-year PE associate at a MF (previously a manager at MBB) looking at strategy/operating roles in healthcare. I'm in the later stages of interviewing for a strategy director role with a fast-growing ~$1B TEV healthcare company. My current total comp is ~$450k, and while I know I'm going to need to take a big hit, what is a reasonable starting point for negotiation?

Looking at comps for strategy director roles in NYC (where I'm based, but position would be remote), it seems like an average low-$200k TC incl. equity, but I'm wondering if it's not unreasonable propose ~$275k all-in (maybe ~$225k cash and ~$50k equity p.a.)? This would be ~40% discount vs. my current comp.

Your thoughts on this (+ any necessary reality checks!) would be very helpful.
