When I did rotations during my FLP that required the use of SAP and/or Hyperion, I had zero knowledge of either and did just fine. You will most likely do some type of cross-training, or there will be standard work and guides there.

I personally wouldn't try to learn either before hand (if that's what you're trying to do) as you need to be in both environments to really learn. Reading a book without having access won't do much I don't think, but maybe that's just me.

 

I would suggest not learning before hand. A lot of different companies and divisions of companies use programs differently than others.
