Summer Internship Corp Finance Workload?
Hello all
Just curious to those of you who are in the business or have tried something similar.
I will be joining an F50 Company in their European Headquarters doing a corp finance project.
Project is doing ROI analysis on some business case.
What is the workload and what hours can i expect?
8 to 18-20 no work on weekends?
Any other good advices? :)
Thanks in advance
/S
No way to tell without knowing the company. Though from what I understand the 40 hour workweek is a lot more standard in Europe (versus 40-60 in the US). 40 is a good guess for an intern
i'm also working a corp finance internship at a european hq (although for a large private company). although countries differ you'll likely just be working 40 hours. the place is nearly empty at 18:00 and i don't think my badge will even work on weekends.
good luck it's a great experience.
I've done two F500 Internships at a big insurance. You will be in at 9 out by 5, workload is not heavy, and it's a great place to start.
You will also have a decent amount of downtime.
US or Europe?
Canada but global company
Typical work week for F500 internships are 40 hrs but can range from 40-55 hrs according to friends in other F500 companies. Personally, I am doing a Big Oil F10 internship in the US and average work week here is 45 hrs (8-5 excluding lunch break) with weekends off of course
Great - thanks for the feedback.
