Asset management to PC chances?
Been working on buy-side asset management as a credit analyst specializing in asset backed securities (no IB experience). Covering full range of vanilla to esoteric ABS making buy/hold/sell recommendations. I’ve been curious about transitioning into asset based lending or managing the portfolios of those deals within private credit (Ares, Fortress, Blue Owl, etc.) and am curious if my background is a fit/what they’re looking for? Thanks!
