BB Credit Risk to PC?
I have been in Credit Risk at Top 3 BB working on the team that supports financial sponsors group for large LBOs. I am not a transaction leader (i.e. Banker or LevFin) but have been on many deal teams working with some decently high profile transactions. Do you think there is a path for me to get to Private Credit as I really want to start making my way to a front office job or will I need to go and get my MBA? Thinking about really trying to take the next year to try and recruit but want some advice so that I'm not just wasting my time.
