Corporate Banking Teams
I was wondering if someone could give a brief overview of the hours/pay/prestige/etc, of each of the following Corporate Banking Products/Teams.
1. Coverage
3. Trade Finance
4. T&AS
5. Strategic Corporate Lending

Take my input with a grain of salt as I only have 10 weeks experience, but I definitely had the impression that coverage and lending were at the top. Coverage is revenue generating so the earning ceiling is massive, but you have to be good at the job, ie getting more business for the bank. Not familiar with T&AS so cant say. After that would say trade finance then cash management though not a world of difference. Cash management still gets a good deal of face time with clients.

In terms of comp/hours, I would personally place coverage and lending on top, followed by trade finance then cash mgmt.
I’m not familiarized with the other team.
