CRM Internship - How to secure return offer / move to PC ?

Hi all, I recently started an internship in a PE/PC fund, in the Risk management team. I work closely with the PC team, however we sit far away and have limited contact together. My position is rather flexible and am part of both tea technically.

I wanted to know how I could leverage my current position to either switch to PC or secure a return offer internally, ideally in the PC team.

The RM role is great however it is very chill, and I feel like I could do a lot more. Most of my colleagues in the RM team are satisfied with little and I’m genuinely hungry for more… How can I hint to them that I want to take on more duties / work more with PC?
