Infra Equity Fund to Private Credit
I’m currently at an infrastructure fund and am considering a transition into private credit to broaden my experience. Having worked in project finance and infra investing, I’m interested in expanding into a different part of the capital structure.
From what I understand, many private credit funds tend to recruit from leveraged finance backgrounds. I’d appreciate any insight from those who have made a similar move — particularly around how to position an infra investing background when exploring opportunities in private credit. Any insights are appreciated!
