What do exits out of an MF vanilla PC program look like? Looking to go into distressed or opportunistic credit. Is the name enough to offset the vanilla credit investing?

If it’s a good brand name where you are now, it will carry some weight with HH bc they’re brain dead and think like the high schoolers in this website.
Thats only half the battle though. Gonna have to dazzle in the interview process bc the type places you’re asking about know MF DL is glorified CLO. Doesn’t DQ you, but I think you have to prove you have a thirst for the game at a deeper level. Just what I’ve observed
