Ramping on Financials Credits - NEED ADVICE

Was hired at a large AM to cover HY and loans with coverage undetermined at the time of my hiring, and I ended up getting handed financials. Our director of research basically told me I’m smarter than the other guy they hired and fins are a large overweight for us, so he thinks it’ll be a great opportunity for me. Problem is, I have not modeled for FIG at all in the past. He told me he’s willing to spend on anything (research providers, courses) to help me ramp. Would appreciate any advice / recommendations.

5. Additional Recommendations

  • Networking and Mentorship: Connect with colleagues or mentors who have experience in FIG. Their insights can be invaluable.
