Timeline from Sr. Assoc --> VP

I work at a mid-sized private credit firm, call it mid single digits bn AUM. Have been here for ~3 years and got the promotion to Sr. Associate this past annual review cycle. Fundraising has not been going great and there has been some turnover already, so I've been considering transferring elsewhere, but I'm also trying to think about ways to lever my history and good reputation within the firm.

At my next annual review, would it be reasonable to push for a VP promotion? At that point in time, I'd have ~6 years of experience. I think that would be faster than normal, but probably not crazy given there are several deals I've underwritten almost single-handedly.

Trying to think about how to lever the mediocre outlook for the firm and their fears about people leaving into better experience / comp for me but not sure if this might be too heavy a lift.

If that's not reasonable, would it be reasonable to ask for a mid-year or next-year guaranteed promotion?
