Which offer: CB or LMM PC (SS)

Finding it difficult to choose between 2 offers, with consideration for longer term goal being to end up in MM PC (DL/SS).

On one hand, I'm concerned about losing ground in my modeling skills while building experience in PC SS; on the other, I could develop my modeling abilities and work on larger deals but DD would be more straight forward

  1. Corporate Banking at B4 bank: Cash flow lending with moderate modeling work but cautious about potential lack of in-depth due diligence
  2. Private Credit (Special Situations): Works in the LMM space & mostly for borrowers that are distressed, in VA, acquisitions, tax arrears.

Little to no modelling work with focus on asset-backed loans (mainly debtor finance and P&E)

    Appreciate any opinions, thanks!
