Buying ETH before merge?
So the tittle says all.
ETH merge is coming - announced for mid-September (transfer from proof-of-work to proof-of-stake, i.e. Ethereum 2.0). In short, there are a lot of positive news linked to this - energy consumption will fall drastically (99%), which means more eco-friendly and appealing to institutions. Also the rate of issuance of new ETH will fall, and a lot of ETH will be moved to staking, so the new supply will shrink. Plus all positive tailwinds from this.
The risks are how much of this is already priced-in and of course potential problems/postponement of merge (happened before).
What are your thoughts, is anyone buying ETH before merge?
