Hedge fund on a blockchain

I was thinking about creating a hedge fund on a blockchain. There would be built in quantitative algorithms which would be executed on a Smart Contract. Each user would be required to purchase a token for 1000 dollars which would be the capital of the fund. The Smart Contract would produce a number of possible investment positions based upon the built in algorithms and the token holders could vote which position they believe would be the most successful. Users may enjoy this model as it would give the user some hands on ability on where to invest.
