How to earn passive income on your cryptos?

DeFi has opened some great opportunities for crypto investors, and newcomers, earlier the only way to earn profits from your crypto holdings was just buy and sell, on exchanges, but with DeFi you can earn profit without selling your cryptos, so the question comes in mind now how?

how you can earn profit on your crypto holdings, what is DeFi, and what is lending and borrowing? also What is staking and some more technical terms associated with DeFi which you will know once you dive into the discussion, like for example liquidity pools and AMM (automated market makers).

i am looking for other terms meanwhile i am sharing a link here, which i find good to understand about crypto staking.

Thank you, share your doubts and answers in reply, we are open to discuss.
