Moelis Blockchain/Crypto Group
Does anyone have insight into Moelis's new blockchain crypto group? Currently have a 2023 SA position lined up but I have an interest in tech/blockchain and would consider recruiting for the group for FT.
Incoming SA at Moelis and also interested. I’m guessing the group will be headed out of LA, but will have cross-staffing in NY?

These next few years are going to see tons of M&A activity as TradFi expands into crypto. Easier to acquire a good custodian as a bank than build it out.
Business is business and at the end of the day all of this consolidation will be done in USD/traditional currency. So even if you’re bearish on crypto - you can get a piece of the profit when have of these shit shows can’t raise, go under and need to sell
