What city/cities will crypto mainly be traded in?

I know that commodities like oil, gold, and agriculture are usually traded in Chicago offices of BBs, but Goldman recently stated that they set up a trading desk for crypto in NYC. However, the most popular exchange for cryptocurrency is coinbase, which is based in San Francisco (similar to other technology developments). In the future, will other banks follow GS and create a trading desk for them in NYC, let crypto end up in Chicago offices like other "commodities", or follow Coinbase and other crypto exchange companies to the Bay Area?
