Access to Management
Hi WSO,
I saw wondering if anyone has any tips for getting access to management. I am an undergrad student who learns extensively outside of class and I create all my own valuation models and publish research which I often pitch to contacts in the industry to get feedback.
I was thinking of creating a company (registered) with a nice clean website and a catchy name and try to start gaining the image of a reputable research firm or at least established.
All this being said, I would like to ultimately gain more access to management. I know I can call up investors relations but it is usually hard to have my questions heard and answered properly/with the seriousness a major fund would receiver.
Of course this is the way of life but please reply with any helpful tips to help me gain further access to management or even just good resources.
Best,
George
Management isn't going to waste their time talking to an undergrad with a fake company. Keep reading 10-Ks and research from reputable firms and you'll have more than enough information to do your practice.
