Building out / maintaining client relationships?

Hey all - hope everyone had a nice Thanksgiving.

I've been in ER (hot sector) for under a year and fully licensed for a handful of months. My question to you all is what is the best way to build out and maintain your relationships with clients?

I realize this is very dependent on the Analyst, but mine is hands off and doesn't hoard clients to him/herself. I'm finding it tough without in person events to put a face to my name and start bringing in phone calls. I realize that it's probably easier to connect with juniors on the buyside since there will be less of an age (and likely knowledge) gap.

Do you keep a spreadsheet of clients by what names they're interested in? Or maybe some other method? Appreciate any insight.
