Career suggestion - Civil Engineering Major

New to this group

Profile:

1)Civil Engineering major with not so great CGPA from top tier college in india ( IIT Bombay)
2) Not so great CGPA
3) Working with a tech company for the last two years which seems to be a dead end.
4) Did an intern with a trading research firm.
5) Planning to apply for MSc finance as I am extremely interested to take up a career in capital markets starting as an equity analyst. ( Would like to move into M&A later on)

What are the prospects of me getting into a good school with the kind of profile that I have? Planning to give my GMAT and aiming at 710+. Planning to apply for the coming fall semester.

Really appreciate your suggestions.

I would say you have pretty decent chances of making it to some good grad schools here in US, considering you have an average CGPA. What's your CGPA like?
