ER firms in Charlotte

I work in institutional S&T right now, but I don't love it. I'd prefer to get into ER for a variety of reasons. I'm a young guy and have been in this position for 18 months, but sales just isn't for me. I'd rather be the idea generator than the mouthpiece for said idea.

Anyway, I'm also a southern boy at heart, and I'm in love with Charlotte. I've found a bunch of IB boutiques there, but have had very little luck finding any place that does ER outside of BofA or Wells.

Anyone know of any other firms in Charlotte with ER? Stephens, RJ, anything? I just don't know.

I also love Nashville, and Avondale Partners caught my eye. Any thoughts?

Thanks a ton for any and all help.

RagnarDanneskjoldI have family down in the 'burbs of Charlotte. I'm a golfer, so I was enamored at first. After a few times, the novelty wore off, and I got bored as fuck. Do you have any suggestions of cool stuff to do down there?

As for your question OP: I'm a commodities guy. Sorry. I'm sure an equities monkey will field this one.

In my experiences, how you feel about Charlotte probably depends on where you're from. Great weather, gorgeous Southern women, not too far from Lake Norman...even if I'm bored I enjoy those things. I've always had a lot of fun in Uptown, but there are great other pockets as well. Sports scene is a little rough (no baseball, Bobcats are awfu, Panthers aren't good), but I love golf.

Get to work.
