Fidelity Equity Research

Can anyone provide insight into what the compensation structure/range is like for a first-year ER associate at Fidelity? I would also appreciate any insight into how it progresses over time through the PM track?

Thank you in advance.

First year associate (out of undergrad, analysts are hired out of b-school) would probably make ~$150k all-in. Some associates get promoted after 3yrs to the analyst level and then the path towards being a PM varies from there. Some analysts run funds / sector sleeves (I believe there is one 30 years old doing that currently) while other analysts stick to just research for a long time.

Do you still work there/ where did you exit to? Going through the interview process right now and really excited to hear back.

What was your background going in? How competitive is it for the internship role?
