Goldman Sachs GIR SLC Any Insights?

Does anybody have any insight with regards to GS GIR and SLC in general (night life, women, COL etc. ). I have a hirevue coming up as I applied for their FT ER program. Sounds legit, but the most recent thread I could find on this was from 2016. Any insights with respect to the group, reputation, and Salt Lake City would be much appreciated.

GIR seems to have a pretty good reputation in the SLC office doing the same stuff as the NY GIR teams with different coverage. Teams seem to start early so expect to be in the office Well before sun up during earnings season.

For night life, salt lake is not the place to be. There are a few bars but they’re all pretty small. Half the women are Mormon and won’t look outside of that group, so the remaining pool isn’t that large. COL is dirt cheap and a brand new apartment is easily less than 2000 for a single down town. Mountains are super close so if you like hiking/skiing it’s a great place to be.

Good stuff. I saw comp (on glass door) all in is around $84k. Is that accurate? Seems a bit low for research
