How to narrow my target company

Good morning WSO,

I am a graduating senior, majoring in Finance and Economics from a state school. I am an international student, and now is struggling to find a way to break into Finance. A little bit about my previous internship, I interned back in my home country (not US my sophomore and junior year) in KPMG Consulting, PwC Corporate Finance and in a US based hedge fund. While I enjoyed my previous experience a lots, I would like to find a similar work in the US. I am most interested in equity research because I wanted to eventually become an investor. I would love to hear fellow WSOs for advice on how to best optimize my job search and target companies

Thank you and have a nice day
