Hi all, I've recently finished working in equity research for 5 months at a very small start-up (no option to continue as it was contract work) and wanted to know if anyone here is familiar with the London equity research scene and could recommend any medium/small firms? I enjoyed the stock/sector analysis, valuation and the financial modelling so would like to carry on in that line of work, however BB applications have been unsuccessful and I feel I would have more luck at smaller firms instead. I graduated from a Russell Group uni in a humanities subject with a 2:1; most of my finance knowledge has been developed from several online courses, reading about investing/finance/accounting and personal investments.
Any advice for breaking into ER in London would be greatly appreciated, cheers.
