Sell side analyst success metrics

Hi, I'm in a bit of a strange situation at the moment. My firm invests some of our parent company's money and provides equity sell-side research to clients of the trading room of the parent company. The management decided that the analyst's team, which I'm a part of, was no longer required for the investing operations and fired everybody, except me, since I'm proficient in a certain sector and am used in investment analysis. So, I'll also keep my sell-side research aspect of the job (there is a good synergy for me). The funny thing is, since my manager has also been fired, no one will keep track of what I'm doing. The problem I see with this is that this situation can't continue for long unless some of the managers of the trading room know that I'm doing a good job. So, the question is, how are Sell Side analysts are evaluated, and what metrics are used? Every other advice regarding my unique situation will be appreciated of course.
