Taking the Bull by the Horns...Excelling at BB Banks

All --

I am finally moving from a tiny little boutique to the big leagues, a bulge bracket bank, within the next two weeks! The interview process was long but not as hard as I was expecting and it's a huge step in the right direction for me. I am, however, finding myself becoming increasingly nervous/anxious about making the move. Here's why: I'm comfortable where I am. Although I'm disgustingly underpaid and completely over worked, I find myself safe in terms of job security whereas on this new venture I'm about to embark on, I am slightly concerned.

I was moved from a salesish role about a year ago and my team (at the boutique) now covers an outlandish amount of names, which has allowed me to buck up on my research writing and learning each company's story, but that's about it (read: little to no modeling exp). My future boss at the BB was informed of this during the interview process, but that was so long ago already that I'm getting the feeling that he/she forgot.

I guess my question is simply this: What can I do to excel at this job? I'll be covering a similar, but not the same, industry and will be the #3 (which is where I am now). I know I need to be more organized, more on point, etc., but I'm looking for specifics here.

For example, a key difference is that my new boss stated that he/she wants a note out within 3 hours of a company reporting, whereas my current boss typically waits almost a full 24 hours to publish something.

With no exp outside of small firms, I can't help but be excited/anxious/nervous heading into this...any help would be greatly appreciated.
