Can anyone here vouch with a recent experience with Alan David in NYC? They seem to have insane reviews online. 5 stars on Google with 400+ reviews??? I've never seen that for any business - 400+ reviews, at a least a few people are going to be unhappy.
I did a search on this forum and there's only 2 mentions from 10+ years ago. I'm looking to get some suits made and - if the reviews are to be believed - I should make a beeline for this place.

Yep, as-advertised. I had a slight premium due to rush services which they quoted over the phone before I showed up.
Did not feel any 'up sell tactics', simply felt different fabric and I picked the one based on preference and price.
