Hello monkeys, I am currently in the market for a new watch and am looking for one that is slightly more classy than the one I have atm (Skagen) yet can wear with a lot of stuff. What do you think are some quality watches for those ballin' on a budget? Here's a list of some that I was thinking of purchasing and if you have these watches let me know.

No to all 3, imo.
Diver: Seiko SKX009/007
Chrono: If I had to pick, it'd be a Citizen Eco-Drive But, I don't think there's any chronos worth having at that price range. These movements are typically too complicated to be done well for that price. Your money will be better spent elsewhere.
Dress: Orient Bambino
Other: Seiko 5 - comes in casual, sport, and dress variations
Seiko, Orient, Citizen, etc. (think Japanese) are your best bet at that price range. They are quality watches first and fashionable pieces second, which is what you want. Stay away from Daniel, MVMT, MK, all those shit fashion watches with crappy Chinese movements.
Go on youtube and spending an hour looking at popular vloggers like TGV and check out some of their under-500 recommendations.
Just checked out the Orient Bambino.. Looks quite beautiful, especially the brown leather one. Thank you for that suggestion.
Seiko SKX007 would be my goto under $200. It's an automatic, super durable, looks great with a variety of bands, really no cons for a watch at that price. I think of it as super entry level rolex submariner as they are both submariners and have a similar look.
You know what two watches have a very similar look? The Steinhart Ocean One. Practically a carbon copy of the Submariner. Only $350 too.
A used iphone. Save money, live better.
Can't go wrong with Seiko. I've got a Seiko Core which has an automatic movement and a leather ban for $250. I did spend an extra $100 to get a real croc band and it really dressed it up; croc printed cowhide looks is the Johnny Tryhard of watch bands.
Seiko imo by far gives you the most watch for your money in the price range you're targeting.
That's what I've been hearing. The most appealing factor to me is that they have a mechanical (automatic) movement which is what I'm looking for. Where did you get the croc band from?

MVMT watches are nice, affordable, and have a classic design. I would check out their 40 series.
Imo MVMTs are ugly haha.
I dislike the big 45MM watches they make, but I have taken a liking to the 40s.
