Birddog Gym Shorts

I've been seeing a lot of ads for these, and I'm kind of curious about them. From what I understand, they're like a cross between chubbies and compression shorts, and they're meant to be worn to the gym. But, they can also double as swim trunks and can be worn as part of normal weekend attire. And their gimmick is that you're supposed to wear them without underwear.

Honestly, I'm pretty tired of having my underwear ride up on me when I work out or bike, so I'm looking into buying a pair (going commando sounds appealing, not gonna lie), but when I check the reviews online, it's hard to discern what's genuine and what's underhanded advertising.

Anyone own a pair? Would you recommend? It gets fairly humid in the summers where I live (Midwest), so avoiding swamp ass would be nice.

I have tried them and sure they are really comfortable. Not a big fan of the style in general dou. Would not use them in a gym, neither on a beach. Should be comfortable enough on bike or running or a bbq on a lake or smn.
