Cyber Monday: $140 Joseph Abboud Suits (reg. $695)

Hi Monkeys,

Today, Men's Wearhouse is doing 60% off on their clearance suits, which luckily happens to include a few from Joseph Abboud. I've picked out two suits that are $140-- charcoal and navy-- that are relatively safe choices for interviewing in, or for first or second year analysts. (maybe even associates if they're thrifty).

Abboud makes good suits, IMO. They're actually made in Massachusetts rather than China like many designers, which tells you a bit about the brand's emphasis on build quality. I find they last about 50% longer than your typical $200 suit at Macy's. And if you're a US student going in for an interview, it's a nice feeling to know that you're supporting US workers. I remembered getting excited finding a Joseph Abboud return at the Newport Jersey City Macy's for $225, so $140 is truly a giveaway price.

These are the same suits sold at Macy's and Neiman Marcus, just for $140, not $695 (Actually Macy's typically marks them down 20%, so $560).

If you want to save an extra $10, I think you can combine this with MrRebates cashback at 8% as well, bringing the price to about $130 + sales tax. (Disclosure: The MrRebates link IS a referral. Feel free to use it if you'd like to let MrRebates pay me a portion of your cashback at no cost to you and help fund upgrades to my rusty Honda.)
